Managed AI localization for high-volume content

AI translation services with a native linguist on every job

Our AI translation services give high-volume programs what AI on its own does not. AI agents translate and check against your glossary, translation memory (TM), and style rules, and a native linguist decides what changes. We run it as a managed service, inside your files or your platform.

  • Terminology that holds across releases. Every approved term carries its source and is checked in every file.
  • Human depth where the risk is. You choose the service level for each content type.
  • Evidence on every delivery. You get the quality-gate result and an issue log, ready to show your stakeholders.

Agents do the volume work, and a linguist makes the call

Each step in the cycle has a named owner: an agent, a linguist, or you, so you always know who decided what. Agents test every file against the rules that can be checked automatically, and the linguist judges the rest and decides what changes.

  1. Step 1: Intake and scoping

We measure your files and confirm the service level with you.

  2. Step 2: Terminology with sources

Agents propose terms from your glossary, TM, and published content, each with its source.

  3. Step 3: Calibrated AI translation

An AI agent translates against your glossary, TM, and rules.

    Who acts: Agent

  4. Step 4: Native read and linguist edit

An agent flags text that reads like a translation, and a native linguist checks or post-edits.

    Who acts: AgentLinguist

  5. Step 5: Independent checks

Separate agents check accuracy, grammar, style, and terminology, each blind to the others.

    Who acts: AgentLinguist

  6. Step 6: Debate and decision

Agents argue each finding, a judge agent recommends, and the reviewer decides.

  7. Step 7: Quality gate and report

An automated gate checks the delivered file. If it fails, the file does not ship.

See how the cycle works

Every job runs steps 1–4 and 7. Steps 5 and 6 run at the higher service levels, as named in your quote. Step 5 runs at AI + Edit and AI + Edit + Review, and step 6 at AI + Edit + Review.

Put human depth where the risk is

An archived help article and a campaign page do not carry the same risk, so they should not get the same depth. You set the service level per content type, and the quote names it.

Compare service levels

Numbered squares show the cycle steps each level runs.

  1. AI + Check Accurate, consistent, and easy to understand A linguist checks every flagged segment, plus a sample. 1234567
  2. AI + EditDefault Reads as if it were written in the target language Full post-editing of every segment, plus a second linguist’s review of a sample. 1234567
  3. AI + Edit + Review For high-visibility or high-risk text: edited, then reviewed by a second linguist Full post-editing and a full second review of every segment, plus a final read of the delivered file. 1234567

Regulated and high-risk content runs at AI + Edit + Review or without AI, never at AI + Check.

No new tools for your team, and fewer repeat corrections

We work from your exports, or inside your translation management system (TMS), including Phrase, XTM, Smartling, Crowdin, and Lokalise. Your team keeps its own workflow. Files come back in your format, with tags and placeholders preserved and checked by the gate before they leave us.

Your reviewers’ corrections carry forward into the next batch. Every edit your reviewer makes is compared with what we delivered. Each confirmed lesson becomes a glossary entry, a rule or an automatic check before your next batch.

Evidence you can show your stakeholders, with every delivery

You don’t have to read the target language to know what happened to your file. Every delivery includes the quality-gate result and an issue log. At AI + Edit, sampled quality reports follow the schedule agreed for your program and can cover several small releases; at AI + Edit + Review, each delivery gets a full report.

AI translation services built for high-volume programs

Locstars has a dedicated team of native linguists for each language we offer.

High-volume programs are normal business for us. Send a single batch or a continuous stream of updates. For updates, we translate what changed since the last batch and recheck existing translations the change affects.

Each linguist is a native speaker of the target language and a subject specialist. The same team stays on your account, so the people who learned your terms and rules are the people who apply them.

Same-day delivery is possible for suitable volumes. We confirm timing in the quote.

You decide where AI is used

We don’t use your content to train or tune our own AI tools, and when we use AI on it, we use only business AI services whose terms bar training on it. You decide how AI is used, content type by content type.

Read the full detail on the Data and AI use page.

  • If some content should stay out of AI, tell us. It is then translated by native linguists without machine translation or generative AI, using your translation memory and glossary.
  • We sign your NDA before work starts.
  • We sign your data processing agreement (DPA), as we sign your NDA. If a clause doesn’t match how we work, we agree the change with you before work starts.
  • We delete your files on request.
  • You own your translation memory. We hand it over as a TMX file whenever you ask.

Judge the work on your own content first

Start small and judge the work on your own content, not on our claims. There are two ways in. Your quote confirms whether the work is a one-off project or part of an ongoing program.

  1. Free check, if you already use AI or MT

Send up to 300 source words of AI or MT output you already have, in a listed language pair. We send back findings on that text. They are indicative, not a rating of your full content.

  2. Sample on your file

Request a quote. If the fit is right, we work on a defined part of your own content at the service level we propose.

  3. Pilot

We run real work in your TMS or files at the levels you chose, and your reviewers judge the result.

  4. Monthly contract

For an ongoing program, the contract sets the service level for each content type, a volume band, and delivery windows.
